Hi Barney,

It's actually against Facebook's terms & conditions to create a facebook page that is for business... so I couldn't possibly comment if I have more than one facebook account!

Thankfully I don't have anything that is incriminating, just some things I'd rather keep private and not share them with the entire world :)

And yes, totally agree, if there is any room for doubt, leave it out.

Hi Claire. An insightful and relevant piece on Facebook I think. You are absolutely correct when you say that Facebook now represents your brand and, as such, your ability to share all is now completely impossible. You could perhaps consider two pages, totally unconnected, one for social, the other for business - but I suspect inevitably someone would make the link!!

The ability to share socially on this type of medium is now directly linked to the impact that an individual needs/wants to make in the business world. For those who are not directly required to promote their "brand" i.e. themselves, the risk of exposing their wilder antics in public is reduced over those that are promoting themselves or others. At the end of the day, its a question of judgement but my opinion would be "if in doubt - leave it out!!"
